Polynucleotides

Stemming from a revolutionary branch of regenerative medicine, polynucleotides are the latest, must-have treatment. Injectable polynucleotides work at a cellular level to restructure the skin and stimulate collagen and elastin, making the skin appear more youthful, plumped and hydrated.

FAQs

We offer a range of different polynucleotides in clinic, including the popular Croma range and Pluryal, both of which help to transform and rejuvenate the skin on the face, neck and body. Polynucleotides can be tailored to your individual concerns, such as the under-eye area, overall sagging skin on the face or a crepey neck. The treatment is suitable for all skin types.

All areas on the face, neck and body can be treated. Common areas include the full face, under eye area, neck and hands. Polynucleotides can be used in combination with other treatments, such as Secret RF.

Polynucleotide treatment consists of injections that go superficially into the skin. It is moderately pain-free and the treatment takes about 30 minutes. The skin can be numbed prior to treatment upon request.

Polynucleotide treatment consists of 3 sessions, which are usually carried out 3-4 weeks apart. Best results are seen 6-8 weeks after the third treatment. The benefits last 6 months, after which we recommend topping up with one treatment to maintain results.

Although three sessions are required to achieve the best results, an improvement is occasionally seen after your first or second treatment. Improved skin quality and firmness is achieved 6-8 weeks after your third treatment.

There are no side effects, except for occasional bruising. The swelling should settle within a couple of hours post treatment.
